Return Policy

Legal & policies

We want you to keep what you bought because it was the right item, not because returning it was too much trouble. This policy explains exactly what can be returned, for how long, in what condition, and how quickly you get your money back. Firearms and ammunition are treated differently to everything else, for reasons set out below.

The rule that catches most people: once a firearm has been transferred to you at your dealer, it is legally a used firearm and we cannot take it back as a return. Inspect the firearm at the dealer counter, before you sign the ATF Form 4473. That is your window, and dealers expect you to use it.

Firearms: inspect before you sign

When your firearm reaches your dealer, ask to examine it before you complete the paperwork. Check the model, calibre, barrel length, finish, sights and serial number against your order, and look it over for damage. If anything is wrong, do not complete the transfer. Ask the dealer to hold it, then call us. We will arrange collection and either replace the firearm or refund you in full.

Once you sign the Form 4473 and take possession, federal law and simple economics both change the picture. The firearm is now used, its value has dropped, and we would have to be involved in a fresh transfer to take it back. At that point a mechanical problem becomes a warranty matter, handled by the manufacturer, who will repair or replace under their own terms. We will happily help you open that claim and chase it if it stalls.

Ammunition, primers and propellant

We cannot accept returns of ammunition or reloading components. Once these leave our control we have no way to verify how they were stored, handled or whether the box still contains what the label says. Selling returned ammunition to another customer would be irresponsible, so we do not create the possibility. If ammunition is defective, squibs, hard primers, split cases or the wrong calibre in the box, contact us with photographs and the lot number. Genuine defects are replaced or refunded and we take them up with the manufacturer ourselves.

Everything else

Optics, lights, holsters, slings, cases, cleaning kits, hearing protection and general gear can be returned within 30 days of delivery if they are unused and complete. Unused means it has not been mounted, installed, zeroed, worn in the field, or had adhesive, tape or thread locker applied. Complete means the original box, foam, tools, shims, batteries, manuals, hang tags and any warranty card. Optics that have been mounted almost always show ring marks and can no longer be sold as new, so please dry-fit before you commit.

How to start a return

  1. Contact us within the windowEmail us with your order number, the item and the reason. Every return needs an authorisation number. Parcels sent back without one cannot be matched to an order and delay your refund considerably.
  2. Pack it properlyPut the original box inside a shipping carton. Do not tape a label onto the manufacturer packaging, since a damaged retail box reduces the refund.
  3. Ship it backIf the return is our error or the item is faulty, we send you a prepaid label. If it is a change of mind, return shipping is yours to arrange, and we recommend a tracked and insured service because the item is your responsibility until it reaches us.
  4. InspectionWe inspect within 2 business days of arrival and email you the outcome, including photographs if there is a problem.
  5. RefundApproved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3 business days of inspection. Your bank typically posts it within 3 to 5 business days after that.

Restocking fees

There is no restocking fee on faulty items, wrong items, or anything returned unopened in its original sealed packaging. A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to items returned opened but resaleable, because they must be sold on as open-box. Items returned incomplete, damaged, or clearly used are not refunded, and we will return them to you at your cost or hold them for 30 days pending your instructions.

Cancellations

You can cancel any order that has not yet shipped at no cost. Email or call as early as you can, since picked and labelled orders are difficult to intercept. Firearm orders can be cancelled at any point before the firearm ships to your dealer. Once it has shipped, cancellation becomes a return and outbound shipping is not refunded.

Failed background checks

If your background check is denied, contact us and we will arrange return of the firearm from your dealer and refund the purchase price. Shipping costs already incurred, in both directions, are not refundable, and your dealer may still charge for their time. A denial is not a judgement from us, and you have the right to appeal it through the FBI.

Warranty support after the window

Nearly everything we sell carries a manufacturer warranty, and many optics and knives carry lifetime coverage. Once a return window has closed, that warranty is your route, and we will give you the contact details, a copy of your invoice as proof of purchase and a nudge if the manufacturer goes quiet on you.
