Buying a firearm online used to mean accepting a certain amount of fog. Photos that were not of the actual model, specifications copied wrong from a distributor sheet, a price that grew by forty dollars between the cart and the confirmation screen, and a transfer process nobody explained until the package was already moving. We had all been on the receiving end of that, and we thought a firearms store could be run the way any other serious retailer is run.

Range Ready Supply was put together by people who shoot, compete, hunt and carry, and who spent years on the other side of a gun counter answering the same questions over and over. The questions were never complicated. What is actually in the box? Is this the current production version? What will it cost me all in? Who do I send it to? How long will it take? We built the store around answering all five before you spend a cent.

That means we sometimes decline to carry a popular item because the quality control has slipped, and we sometimes carry a quiet workhorse because it simply keeps running. Where a category has a genuine budget option and a genuine lifetime option, we try to stock both and describe the difference honestly rather than steering everyone toward the higher margin.

One more thing worth knowing about Range Ready Supply: everything we sell arrives through authorised distributors or directly from the manufacturer. That matters more than it sounds. Grey-market and counterfeit product is a real problem in optics, magazines, weapon lights and batteries, and a counterfeit magazine or a fake red dot is not a bargain, it is a malfunction waiting for the worst possible moment. Buying from us means the serial number is traceable, the warranty is valid and the accessory in the box is the one the manufacturer made.

Safety is part of the product

We believe a firearms retailer has an obligation that ends somewhere past the shipping label. We publish plain-language guidance on safe storage, we point customers toward certified instruction rather than assuming everyone already knows, and we support the principle that a locked firearm prevents the accidents and thefts that make headlines. Free locking devices are available through Project ChildSafe, and we would rather you use one than not.

We also take the other side of that seriously. We do not sell to anyone who cannot lawfully buy, we do not process straw purchases, and every transaction runs through a licensed dealer who performs the background check required by federal law. That is not a burden we tolerate, it is a standard we agree with.
