Accessibility Statement
Accessibility Statement: we want this store to work for every customer, including those using a screen reader, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control or any other assistive technology. This statement explains what we aim for, what we have done, where we know we fall short and how to tell us when something does not work.
Our Accessibility Statement Commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at level AA. That standard is the benchmark referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act in practice, and it covers the things that matter most: text you can read, controls you can reach with a keyboard, content that does not depend on colour alone, and pages that behave predictably.
What we have built in
Keyboard navigation
Menus, filters, product options, the cart and checkout can all be operated without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator so you always know where you are.
Screen reader support
Semantic headings, labelled form fields, descriptive link text and alternative text on meaningful images, so the page structure makes sense when read aloud.
Readable contrast
Text and interface colours are chosen for contrast against their background, and information is never conveyed by colour alone.
Resizable text
Pages reflow at up to 200 percent zoom without content being cut off or controls overlapping.
Clear error messages
Forms explain what went wrong in words, next to the field concerned, rather than relying on a red outline.
Predictable layout
Consistent navigation, no content that moves or auto-plays unexpectedly, and no time limits that cannot be extended.
Where we know we fall short
Honesty is more useful than a badge. We are aware of the following limitations and are working on them:
- Some manufacturer-supplied product images carry generic alternative text where no meaningful description was provided. We are rewriting these by hand, starting with the most viewed products.
- A small number of legacy PDF documents, such as manufacturer manuals, are not tagged for screen readers. We can provide the content in an accessible format on request.
- Third-party components, including payment, chat and review widgets, are not entirely within our control. We raise issues with those vendors and will replace any component that cannot be made accessible.
- Complex product comparison tables can be difficult to follow on a small screen with magnification, and we are redesigning them.
Shopping with us another way
If any part of the site is a barrier, we will complete your order with you directly. Call or email and a member of the team will describe products, check compatibility, read out specifications, place the order and arrange the dealer transfer on your behalf. There is no charge for this and no need to explain why you are asking.

Telling us about a problem
Reports from real users are worth more than any automated audit. If you hit a barrier, please tell us:
- What you were trying to doFor example, adding an item to the cart or filtering by calibre.
- Where it happenedThe page address, if you can copy it.
- What you were usingBrowser, device and any assistive technology, including the version if you know it.
- What happened insteadWhatever detail you can give. Even a rough description helps.
We acknowledge every accessibility report within two business days and give you a realistic timescale for a fix rather than a stock reply. Where a fix will take time, we will tell you how to complete what you needed in the meantime.
How we keep it up
Accessibility is checked when new templates are built and reviewed periodically across the site using a combination of automated testing, keyboard-only walkthroughs and screen reader testing. Automated tools catch perhaps a third of real problems, which is why manual testing and your feedback both matter.
Why This Accessibility Statement Matters When You Shop
We wrote this accessibility statement because buying firearms, ammunition, and accessories online should be simple for every customer, not just the ones who are comfortable with a mouse and a large monitor. Whether you are comparing calibers, checking FFL transfer requirements, or completing checkout on a small screen, the commitments in this accessibility statement apply to every page of our online gun store, not just this one.
Customers who rely on assistive technology still want the same things every shopper wants: clear pricing, an easy way to buy ammunition online, straightforward layaway and financing options, and a checkout that works the first time. Our accessibility statement is reviewed alongside every new feature we launch, from product filters to our licensed FFL dealer locator, so accessibility is never an afterthought bolted onto a finished page.
If you have questions about this accessibility statement, or you would rather shop by phone with a team member who can read out specifications and place your order for you, contact us any time. We would rather walk you through a purchase personally than have this accessibility statement stand between you and the gear you need.
What Accessible Product Pages Look Like
This accessibility statement is easiest to understand next to a real example. The two product photos below use the same descriptive alt text and structured labelling that every listing on the site follows, so a screen reader user hears a useful description instead of a filename.

Accessibility Statement Frequently Asked Questions
Does this accessibility statement cover the whole website?
Yes. This accessibility statement applies to every page of our online store, including product listings, the cart, checkout, account pages, and our blog. If a third-party tool such as a chat widget or a payment processor falls short of what this accessibility statement promises, we still want to hear about it so we can push that vendor for a fix.
What should I do if a page is hard to use?
Contact us using the details in this accessibility statement and describe what happened. Most reports take only a few minutes to act on, and many result in a same-day fix. You will never be asked to prove that a barrier exists before we take it seriously.
Can I still buy firearms or ammunition if I cannot complete checkout online?
Yes. This accessibility statement exists precisely so that a difficult checkout never stops a sale. Call, email, or message us and a team member will walk through the order with you personally, including any required FFL transfer paperwork.
How often is this accessibility statement updated?
We review this accessibility statement whenever we redesign a page or add a new feature, and at minimum once every quarter, so it always reflects the current state of the site rather than a one-time audit from years ago.
Accessibility Statement Standards We Follow
This accessibility statement is built around recognised, testable standards rather than vague promises. We benchmark every page against WCAG 2.1 AA, review new templates before launch, and keep a running log of fixes so this accessibility statement stays accurate as the store grows.
- Keyboard access: every interactive element reachable and operable without a mouse, matching what this accessibility statement describes above.
- Screen reader clarity: headings, labels, and alt text written for meaning, not just compliance checkboxes.
- Consistent support: the same accessibility statement commitments apply whether you shop from a desktop, a tablet, or a phone.
- Real people on call: if a page still gets in your way, our team completes the order with you, calibre questions and FFL transfer paperwork included.
We would rather this accessibility statement be a living document than a one-time legal box to check. If you shop with us regularly and notice things improving, or slipping, over time, that feedback shapes our roadmap directly.
Something not working for you?
If anything in this accessibility statement does not match what you experience, tell us and we will fix it, and help you complete your order in the meantime.
