The Tisas 1911 Government is a full-size .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol built with a 4140 hammer-forged steel slide and frame. Its five-inch barrel and traditional GI front and rear sights maintain the classic Government 1911 profile, while the manual thumb safety and grip safety provide established 1911 handling characteristics. The pistol features a spur hammer, titanium firing pin, arched mainspring housing with lanyard loop, and walnut grips. It includes two magazines, a cleaning kit, bushing wrench, extra brown plastic grips, trigger lock, and lockable case.
