The Rock Island Armory TAC Ultra FS HC 13RD is a full-size, double-stack 1911-style pistol chambered in .45 ACP. Its 5.05-inch barrel and steel construction provide a stable shooting platform, while the 13+1 capacity offers more ammunition than a traditional single-stack 1911. The pistol combines a Novak-style front sight with an LPA adjustable rear sight for a practical sight picture and includes a 1911-style grip safety with an ambidextrous manual thumb safety. The Parkerized finish is suited to a durable, utilitarian configuration, and the semi-automatic action uses a crisp 4-6-pound trigger pull.
