Accessibility Statement
We want this store to work for every customer, including those using a screen reader, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control or any other assistive technology. This statement explains what we aim for, what we have done, where we know we fall short and how to tell us when something does not work.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at level AA. That standard is the benchmark referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act in practice, and it covers the things that matter most: text you can read, controls you can reach with a keyboard, content that does not depend on colour alone, and pages that behave predictably.
What we have built in
Keyboard navigation
Menus, filters, product options, the cart and checkout can all be operated without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator so you always know where you are.
Screen reader support
Semantic headings, labelled form fields, descriptive link text and alternative text on meaningful images, so the page structure makes sense when read aloud.
Readable contrast
Text and interface colours are chosen for contrast against their background, and information is never conveyed by colour alone.
Resizable text
Pages reflow at up to 200 percent zoom without content being cut off or controls overlapping.
Clear error messages
Forms explain what went wrong in words, next to the field concerned, rather than relying on a red outline.
Predictable layout
Consistent navigation, no content that moves or auto-plays unexpectedly, and no time limits that cannot be extended.
Where we know we fall short
Honesty is more useful than a badge. We are aware of the following limitations and are working on them:
- Some manufacturer-supplied product images carry generic alternative text where no meaningful description was provided. We are rewriting these by hand, starting with the most viewed products.
- A small number of legacy PDF documents, such as manufacturer manuals, are not tagged for screen readers. We can provide the content in an accessible format on request.
- Third-party components, including payment, chat and review widgets, are not entirely within our control. We raise issues with those vendors and will replace any component that cannot be made accessible.
- Complex product comparison tables can be difficult to follow on a small screen with magnification, and we are redesigning them.
Shopping with us another way
If any part of the site is a barrier, we will complete your order with you directly. Call or email and a member of the team will describe products, check compatibility, read out specifications, place the order and arrange the dealer transfer on your behalf. There is no charge for this and no need to explain why you are asking.

Telling us about a problem
Reports from real users are worth more than any automated audit. If you hit a barrier, please tell us:
- What you were trying to doFor example, adding an item to the cart or filtering by calibre.
- Where it happenedThe page address, if you can copy it.
- What you were usingBrowser, device and any assistive technology, including the version if you know it.
- What happened insteadWhatever detail you can give. Even a rough description helps.
We acknowledge every accessibility report within two business days and give you a realistic timescale for a fix rather than a stock reply. Where a fix will take time, we will tell you how to complete what you needed in the meantime.
How we keep it up
Accessibility is checked when new templates are built and reviewed periodically across the site using a combination of automated testing, keyboard-only walkthroughs and screen reader testing. Automated tools catch perhaps a third of real problems, which is why manual testing and your feedback both matter.
Something not working for you?
Tell us and we will fix it, and help you complete your order in the meantime.
